Projects for Type 2 Diabetes Prevention in Children
There are eight projects across New York State working to prevent type 2 diabetes in children. Their goal is to reduce risk factors for type 2 diabetes in children by increasing opportunities for physical activity and healthy food choices in the home, in the school and in the community.
