| Minimum Qualifications | Open to New York State Employees only: Candidates must be reachable for appointment from the appropriate Civil Service eligible list for the title; OR Currently employed as an Associate Personnel Administrator and eligible for transfer; OR Eligible to transfer via Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law. Section 52.6 allows a permanent competitive class employee, who has at least one year of service in an appropriate title, to transfer to a title where the essential duties and qualifications are similar and the transfer is within two salary grades. In the absence of an eligible list, provisional appointment may be made based upon the meeting of the announced minimum qualifications for the most recent, or where appropriate, the next examination for the title as established by Civil Service. |

| Responsibilities | Direct the facility Human Resource program, including the supervision of administrative and clerical staff. Provide technical human resource expertise to facility managers and staff on a variety of human resource issues including, but not limited to, recruitment/retention, performance evaluation, FMLA, contract administration, time and attendance, overtime monitoring/strategies, labor relations issues, etc. |
