The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) has issued an announcement of the availability of the Environmental Justice Interagency Task Force's General Recommendations and specific Agency Action Agendas.
The Department of Health participated with the NYSDEC, other agencies, and stakeholders (community groups, businesses, etc.) on this Task Force, which, since July 2008, has been discussing recommendations on how agencies can incorporate Environmental Justice (EJ) principles and address community concerns.
