Program Type:

  • Breast, Cervical and Colorectal Cancer Screening: Eligible clients are able to received clinical breast exams, mammograms, Pap tests and colorectal cancer screening through fecal tests. Clients receiving positive screening tests also receive diagnostic testing and are referred to treatment if needed. Eligible clients are also enrolled in the Medicaid Cancer Treatment Program for Medicaid coverage for the duration of their breast, cervical, colorectal or prostate cancer treatment.
  • Camp Experience: Provides camp refferrals for children, adults and family members affected by cancer.
  • Community Outreach: Informing people about new or expanding cancer support services.
  • Individual Therapy: One-on-one psychological counseling.
  • Legal and Supportive Services: Provides legal and supportive services to people and their families who are affected by cancer.
  • Mobile Mammography: A mobile mammography van located in this county.
  • Other Services: Provides various services such as prosthetics, wigs, make-up.
  • Ovarian Cancer: Provides educational awareness and support services to people and their families affected by cancer.
  • Provider Consultation/Training: Provides training designed to help professionals keep current regarding various cancer support issues.
  • Support Groups: Provides peer support groups, professionally - facilitated and educational group.
  • Telephone Support Services: Provides support, networking, referrals and crisis intervention.
  • Transportation To Treatment: Provides fee transportation to and from treatment for people with cancer.
  • Supportive/Educational Web-Based Services: Provides services on-line.
  • Workshop/Seminars: Events that offer cancer-related educational, research and consumer activities.
