Provider Eligibility Guidelines
CACFP is a federal entitlement program. As such,
- All eligible facilities and children can participate without limit on the Program's size.
- Meal reimbursement rates are federally set. A participating center's reimbursement will be based on the household income of participants and the type and number of meals and snacks served.
- Local administrative funds are available only to family day care sponsoring organizations, not to day care center sponsors.
